Key Responsibilities – L1 IT Helpdesk Duties
- Answer IT questions by email, phone or chat as the first point of contact.
- Solutions to L1 issues: hardware/software, Networks and email, VPN applications.
- Control password resets, unlocks or access requests.
- Track and log incidents in ticketing systems. Meet SLAs.
- Expand to L2/L3 and document solutions in the knowledge base.
- Offer an unambiguous customer service as well as up-to-date information.
Eligibility Criteria for Fresher IT Support Jobs
- B.Sc CS/ BCA or BTech (2023 20, 2024 and 2025, and 2023 passouts).
- 60 percent or more in the 10th, 12th, UG No backlogs.
- Achievement in academics with a desire to discover.
Required Skills for Service Desk L1 Roles
- Fundamentals of Operating Systems, Networking, Windows Troubleshooting, and MS Office.
- English proficiency and incident management skills.
- Problem-solving, communication, and fast-paced adaptability.
- Flexibility in shifts (24/7 rotational, even nights).
