TCS Off-Campus Hiring Drive: TCS Research Delhi offers a summer internship that is focused specifically on Data Science and Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications in mental well-being and financial health. The on-site job offers an opportunity to work with real-world problems using the latest AI and machine-learning techniques.
Key Project Areas
- The Mental Health Domain: Develop NLP models to recognise distress indicators, analyse sentiment and detect behavioural patterns from textual data.
- Financial Wellbeing Domain: Discover non-traditional data sources that can improve the accuracy of credit scores, enhance mechanisms to detect fraud and develop tools to encourage financial literacy and awareness.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficient with Python programming.
- Experience with hands-on ML as well as NLP frameworks, such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and spaCy.
- Experience with the latest AI technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, Large Reasoning Models (LRM), as well as Small Language Models (SLM).
Eligibility Criteria
- Students currently in 3rd year undergraduate or above (UG 3rd year or higher, PhD) studying for degree programs that focus on Computer Science, Data Science, or related areas.
- Candidates with an impressive portfolio of at least three NLP/ML projects.
- Additional skills in software development serve to gain an edge.
- Ability to translate complicated financial or social problems into practical, adaptable technological solutions.

- Duration: 2-3 months.
