This position focuses on teaching live classes on a 1:1 basis for Public Speaking and Creative Writing to students ranging from 5 to 50 years old. Key Responsibilities
- Live, interactive online, 1:1 classes on Public Speaking and Creative Writing by using PlanetSpark’s pre-planned material.
- Students from diverse age groups (5-50 years old) to enhance their spoken English and personality development and writing abilities.
- Create lessons that are tailored to meet individual student’s needs, encouraging confidence and imagination.
- Give constructive feedback to aid students in improving their writing and communication skills.
- Keep a professional and active virtual classroom.
- Monitor student progress and provide reports on their performance to ensure constant improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with PlanetSpark’s teaching methods and updates to content.
Qualifications
- Education: Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree. A Doctorate degree is also acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of tutoring or teaching or tutoring experience (preferred for English, Public Speaking, or Creative Writing).
- Certificates: B.Ed, TEFL or TESOL. CTET certification is an advantage but it isn’t required.
- Skills:
- Excellent ability to master the English language written and spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage students.
- Competency with online learning tools as well as the management of virtual classrooms.
- The ability to coach students in the areas of soft skills, personality development, and expression of creativity.
- Experience with IELTS coaching or spoken English tutoring can be a benefit.
