Job Overview
Purchase Executives the Purchase Manager plays an important role in coordinating procurement functions such as coordination with vendors equipment configuration, as well as cross-departmental collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration with the Purchase team within the company to assist with procurement functions and other operational tasks.
- Verifying purchase documents, quotations and vendor information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordination of efforts across departments to ensure smooth communication as well as efficient workflow.
- Establishing and maintaining solid relations with vendors in order to guarantee favorable terms as well as long-term relationships.
- Controlling and tracking purchases from the time of initiation until the point of completion, while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with budgetary limits.
- Supervising link installation and coordinating with technical vendors to ensure proper configuration and confirmation.
- Assisting with IP configuration tasks, while also helping with setting up firewalls and routers where it is required.
- Coordinating with various vendors in different regions across India and ensuring that purchases are made in a timely manner and installation.
- In constant contact with the senior management team to update the team, solicit approval and ensure the transparency of all procurement processes.
- Ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance with company guidelines while managing day-to-day purchasing tasks.
Preferred Qualities and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a similar area.
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in the purchase operations field or vendor management, or other similar positions.
- A good knowledge of IP configuration as well as router management and the basic network configuration.
- Great coordination and communication and abilities to manage.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle many tasks with precision and effectiveness.
- Excellent negotiation skills as well as the capability to negotiate high-quality terms and prices from vendors.
- Experience with MS Office, primarily Excel and Outlook to maintain record of purchase transactions and communicating with vendors.
- Careful attention to details as well as a critical mentality with a focus on keeping the quality of control.
