- Function: Associate Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications with Java using the knowledge of JDK17 to create robust applications.
- Develop and implement a Multichannel Architecture with a focus on the modelling of data, seamless data exchange, and seamless integrations.
- Give precise estimates of the development process, basing your estimates on business requirements at the highest level or technical specifications.
- Engage effectively with all stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Use DBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.
- Use your expertise in the ClickHouse Database as well as its parts to control and improve data processing.
- Conduct an analysis of the root causes to identify production issues and solve technical issues quickly.
- Develop tools to reduce errors and improve customer service.
- Work with colleagues in the agile (Scrum) environment with teams worldwide distributed to deliver top-quality solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees with a focus on Computer Science, Information Technology or another related area.
- Experience: 0-4 years of experience working in the field of software engineering, or a similar position, having practical experience as an Engineer in DevOps is a great advantage.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency advanced proficiency Java Advanced proficiency in Java, an in-depth understanding of JDK17..
- A thorough understanding of Kubernetes and Docker for deployments using containers.
- Know-how expertise in Apache Kafka for real-time streaming of data.
- Expertise in the design and implementation of REST APIs.
- Experience with tools such as Grafana, Kibana, along GitLab Runner to monitor and pipelines of CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of the ClickHouse database, as well as its parts that handle massive amounts of data.
- Experience using Linux operating systems for the administration of systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to process massive amounts of data in real-time as well as batch processing mode.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a positive outlook to solve problems.
- Fantastic communications, presentation and abilities to write to convey the technical ideas clearly.
- Able to perform well in a hectic, Agile (Scrum) environment that has globally distributed teams.
