This Junior Engineer intern position gives valuable experience working on the Immerse testing process for products in a quality engineering department.
The chosen intern is responsible for the learning, testing and automation under the direction of the QE Lead. Experience gained through practical experience will enhance understanding of the latest testing frameworks, products’ functionality and automation tools utilized in the current technologically-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with the Quality Engineering team in executing tests for Immerse’s product.
- Get professional instruction about product features Automated testing tools and QA procedures.
- Participate in the design, implementation and maintaining tests to increase product reliability.
- Support automation script development using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Utilize tools such as TestRail to manage test cases and for tracking results.
- Find and report any problems, take part in test reviews and ensure the test is executed consistently.
- Work closely with engineers and technical teams to improve the testing of products.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives as part of QE. QE function.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of web technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with the latest automation of testing Frameworks and instruments.
- Experienced in front-end automation with Selenium Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- A basic understanding regarding API testing and validation of web services.
- At least one scripting language, such as Python, Java, or C#.
- The ability to think in logical terms, a keen eye for particulars, and a strong analytical ability to solve problems.
- A commitment to learn the latest test automation technology as well as Software Quality Engineering.
