They are looking to become part of their Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) as an Executive Developer. The position is a full-time job in Bengaluru, which is ideal for young professionals looking to develop their skills in a team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design and implement scalable, sleek, and efficient front-end applications using JavaScript, ES6+ and the latest frameworks.
- Use the state-management libraries (Redux Context API, Redux) and incorporate RESTful APIs for data-driven, dynamic products.
- Troubleshoot and fix application problems, improving the performance and the user experience.
- Make use of Git to manage your version for collaborative environments of development environments.
- Be involved in the code review process, testing (with Jest/React’s Testing Library), as well as continuous improvements.
- Work with teams of cross-functional professionals, such as designers and product managers, as well as data scientists, to provide high-impact solutions that benefit Deloitte clients.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of knowledge in Web development.
- Degrees at the Bachelor’s level (engineering backgrounds preferred).
- Competency in JavaScript and the latest front-end techniques (React, React Hooks, or the Context API).
- A good knowledge of synchronous programming and RESTful APIs.
- Acquaintance with Git to control versioning.
- Pay attention to the smallest of details; solid problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Working experience working React and TypeScript.
- Experience in optimising performance and the best methods.
- Experimentation with testing Frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
- A good understanding of the importance of Agile development, and the ability to work with the hybrid (onsite/remote) environment.
