Engineering students from across India develop their coding skills by participating in the Big Code, a national coding competition based on merit. Find solutions to algorithmic challenges, compete in multi-stage challenges and show off your skills during the engineering coding competition in 2026.
Challenge Stages Breakdown
- Registration & Kick-off: Eligible 2nd/pre-final/final-year circuit branch students (CS, IT, ECE, EEE). Deadline: March 12, 2026 (11:59 PM IST).
- Qualification Round – MCQs and coding tasks. Window: March 14-15, 2026. The top 15,000 advance.
- 1. Round: Algorithmic problems test the fundamentals of HTML0. Top 1,500 to Round 2.
- Second Round: Showdown of advanced coding.
- Finale: Top 50 from 48 hours AI hackathon. The top 15 are present at the Bengaluru office.
Eligibility for This AI Hackathon for Students
- Full-time B.Tech/M.Tech/integrated degree students, aged 18+.
- Recognised by the AICTE/UGC, Indian universities Circuit branches only.
- Individual entry. No employees or interns of the organisers.
How to Register – Step-by-Step
- Make use of personal email (add your university as a secondary).
- Upload a new PDF resume.
- One entry is all you need. Multiple entries will not count.
- Keep an eye on your email for notifications (March 14-18th, 2026).
