As an Business Development Executive, the primary responsibility is to promote the sale of smart speakers solutions that are specifically created for merchants using PhonePe for Business. Key Responsibilities
- Discover new leads and contact businesses that could benefit from PhonePe’s smart speakers.
- Show product demonstrations via remote to decision-makers and retailers communicating the value of the product and responding to real-time questions.
- Attain daily, weekly and monthly sales goals for smart speaker products in the area of payments.
- Establish trusting, long-lasting relationships with potential clients by constantly following up with them and guiding them through the onboarding process.
- Get detailed feedback from merchant partners to help the team improve their offerings and find potential new applications for smart speaker solutions.
- Stay current with knowledge about PhonePe Merchant offerings, competition technology trends in fintech, and the latest laws governing digital payments.
- Continuously update sales and CRM systems to reflect leads’ status, phone calls, successes and pipeline performance.
- Work with your internal marketing and business teams to increase reach as well as the visibility and effectiveness that PhonePe offers for Business solutions.
- Provide exceptional service and support to merchants, dealing with issues quickly and keeping long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience of 0 to 1 year in direct sales or B2B preferred in the fintech, payments or tech areas.
- Excellent communication abilities (spoken or written) for providing solutions to merchants and solving questions efficiently.
- Ability to establish relationships, negotiate and conclude contracts with small-business clients.
- A self-motivated, active, and goal-oriented professional with the ability to thrive in a work-based workplace.
- It is easy to work remotely and has a strict time, task as well as call control.
- A familiarity with PhonePe or other digital payment systems is an advantage.
- UG: No degree is needed, making this position more accessible to a larger talent pool.
