Afrobeats superstar Davido was spotted at the Etihad Stadium watching Premier League champions Chelsea play in a Manchester City jersey.
It’s been a day since global sports company Puma invited the music icon.
On Saturday, after the sports company unveiled Manchester City’s new 2023/24 Puma kit, Puma and Davido had some exchanges on Twitter.
Davido reacted to the post and revealed how impressed he was with the design.
He said, “Hmm. That looks like a champion’s jersey! 👀👀 I miss you! #pumafarm”.
Davido soon received a response from PUMA who appreciated his comments and invited him to the title celebration match at the Etihad.
With a quick response, Davido asked him to send the jet, and the company promised him he would.
He said; “Give me the ginger. SEND THE JETS!!”
Davido later confirmed that PUMA had sent a jet and it was heading to Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Puma shared a photo of the Etihad superstar wearing a Manchester City kit in response to a fan who wondered if Davido had made an appearance at the match.

It all started when Man City’s official designer, Puma Brand, posted an image of the new jersey.

Commenting on the sports company’s website post, Davido wrote: say “Hmm. That looks like a champion’s jersey! 👀👀 I miss you! #pumafarm.” PUMA invites
The German manufacturer then thanked him and asked if he could come to the game on Sunday.
