TCS Onboarding Documents Complete Checklist: The preparation of your documents is the first stage to ensure an easy TCS joining. Documents that are not complete or insufficient can hinder the process of onboarding. We’re here to help you grow stronger mentally and emotionally. The current and comprehensive list of documents required to be submitted for TCS onboarding in 2026.
1. Birth Certificate / Birth Affidavit
- Birth Certificates are required to prove the age of the person.
- If the original birth certificate isn’t in English or is not available, then you need to submit a birth affidavit on the Rs 10 or Rs 20 stamp paper, duly notarized.
- Many applicants face problems due to name mismatches. Make sure your name is in line with the 10th and 12th on your marksheets.
2. Gap Affidavit (Most Important)
- If more than six months is a gap in the field of education, or between work and education, you have to provide a Gap Affidavit.
- It is essential to specify the reasons for the Gap (preparation, medical, family issues, etc.).
- Print it on the appropriate stamp paper (usually between Rs. 10 and Rs. 50) and then get it notarized.
3. Medical Certificate / Fitness Certificate
- You will require a medical certificate that proves you have the medical fitness to join.
- It should have been signed, sealed and dated by the certified MBBS doctor.
- Many candidates get it from the government or private hospitals.
4. Non-Criminal Affidavit (NCA / Police Verification)
- This affidavit declares that you have no criminal record.
- It must be printed on stamp paper and notarised.
- Use the exact template provided by TCS in the onboarding portal you use.
5. Service Agreement (Bond)
- TCS Service Agreement is a crucial legal document.
- It needs to be printed on ₹100 or ₹200 stamp paper (value may vary by state).
- You and your surety (guarantor) both need to sign it.
- Usually, 2 copies are required.

- PAN Card (Mandatory)
- Aadhaar Card (Original + Photocopy)
- 10th, 12th & Graduation Marksheets & Certificates
- Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate
- Experience Letters and Payslips (for more experienced candidates)
- 6-8 Passport-size photos
- Details of the bank (Cancelled check or Passbook)
- The Vaccination Certificate (if requested)
