The 66th Grammy Awards will bee held on Sunday at Crypto

There are many reasons to be enthusiastic about this Sunday’s 66th Grammy Awards, which will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Women outnumber men in major categories, so expect to see the spotlight on its female nominees.

According to Grammy executive producer Ben Winston, “that’s really what the whole show is about — it’s dominated by women,” The Associated Press said. “It’s something we’re really celebrating,” added his fellow EP Raj Kapoor. “It’s almost unprecedented.”

The Associated Press will also air a three-hour red carpet show with interviews and fashion footage. It will be available on YouTube, Twitter and AP’s website starting at 4 pm. Eastern.

With nine nominations, SZA is the front-runner, followed by Victoria Monet and Phoebe Bridgers with seven each. Bridgers’ band Boygenius consists of six, including Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Brandi Clark, Batiste and producer Jack Antonoff.

If Taylor Swift takes home Album of the Year, she breaks the record for the artist with the most wins with four.Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey might win their first Grammys.

Victoria Monet’s 2-year-old daughter Hazel will become the youngest Grammy winner if her Hollywood performance wins best traditional R&B performance. If she wins for “Mana Serra Bonito,” Carole G could become the first female artist to win in the Best Musica Urbana Album category. Jack Antonoff could tie Babyface as Producer of the Year with a third win in 2024. The producer with the most consecutive wins in a non-classical category.

Too many people! The list includes: SZA, Joni Mitchell’s first-time Grammy performance, and five-time Grammy winner and 23-time nominee Billy Joel.

In addition, Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, and Burna Boy—all Grammy winners and current nominees—are on the roster.
