Genesis Connected Services: Genesis Motor America today announced that its comprehensive telematics suite, Genesis Connected Services, is now being offered free of charge to all original owners or lessees for the 2023 and newer model years.
Genesis Connected Services – Now Complimentary for New Owners of 2023
The safety, maintenance, convenience and remote features included in Genesis Connected Care, Remote and Guidance subscription packages are now offered on a non-trial basis for new customers with Genesis Connected service (4G LTE network and technology dependent) complimentary. Complimentary Genesis Connected Services debuts on all models with the technology starting in 2023 and beyond.
Genesis is boosting the ownership experience by standardizing access to the best safety, maintenance, convenience, and remote technology capabilities for new owners through a complementary industry-leading connectivity program. Subsequent owners will still be able to access safety and vehicle maintenance-related features at no additional cost for model years 2023 and newer, and can purchase subscriptions to convenience and remote technology features.

Every car offered by Genesis is built to provide the newest security, convenience, and technological amenities that consumers appreciate most. With Genesis Connected Services, customers can get advanced safety and convenience technologies such as automatic collision notification, charge management, digital key, enhanced roadside assistance, remote start with climate control and stolen vehicle recovery. Genesis users may effortlessly access Genesis Connected services from their compatible smartphone app or wristwatch, the web, and the display in their vehicle.

Genesis Connected services were previously complimentary for the first three years of ownership. Existing first-time owners of 2023 and newer Genesis Connected Services-equipped models received an update that their Genesis Connected Services are now complimentary after the first three years of the 4G LTE network’s life with no expiration. This improved Genesis Connected Services offering is now available to all current Genesis first-time customers and new Genesis owners who buy an eligible Genesis through a retailer in 2023.

The offer for complimentary Genesis Connected Services without i Subscription (GCS) is available to buyers and lessees of new 2023 GCS-equipped Genesis models. Not available on all models and trims. An active GCS account that complies with the GCS Terms and Conditions is required for GCS. Only use GCS features and associated hardware when it is secure to do so. Cellular and GPS coverage is required. Features, specifications and fees are subject to change.
GCS relies on digital wireless telecommunications technology beyond Genesis’ control. The 4G LTE cellular networks on which GCS is built are managed and maintained by independent wireless carriers. If and when these networks change and/or discontinue service, or the underlying technology necessary to support GCS becomes obsolete, the Connected Services will not function and Genesis will be forced to cancel the affected Services.
